Power centers
Our Power Centers combine the major elements of a renewable energy system-charge control, circuit protection, grounding, AC/DC load breakers-into a single power board and enclosure if needed. The power centers are both fully certified to UL and CSA standards, and may be best described as the "ultimate renewable energy system service entrance.
This product line totally simplifies the installation of an inverter/ battery/ solar PV system. The PC series offers unrivaled flexibility; system voltage is field selectable for 12, 24, or 48 volts, and the capacity of the charge controller can be expanded as well. Retro-fitting a Power Center is a great way to up-grade existing inverter systems.
Our 250 and 500 amp systems work with a wide variety of inverters - up to and including a pair of 6848s. The Power Centers are designed for a single inverter and dual inverter operation. Both models come with our 60 amp charge controller utilizing Maximum Power Point Charging built-in. They also include an LED battery status indicator, and ready to connect to a meter. Both Power Centers have optional field installable generator start/stop, and remote battery temperature sensing, options.
In addition to the standard 250 amp battery main disconnect breaker, the Power Centers are equipped with a single 60 amp inverter bypass switch on the AC output side. The power center can have dual 250 amp battery main disconnect breakers-one for each inverter. It comes standard with one DC breaker and room to add four more. An inverter bypass switch is standard.
Power Centers are designed for easy, code compliant installation of back-up power and off-grid systems. They are completely assembled and may be shipped via courier.
